1/2″ Vibration-Dampening Strut Clamp
Cush a Clamp, as the name implies, is a cushioned pipe clamp. The cushion insert, which traditional pipe clamps lack, dampens shock and vibration, as well as prevents galvanic corrosion. The insert is made out of thermoplastic elastomer, which helps to extend the life of your pipe support system. The highly durable plastic is also resistant to most chemicals, oils and industrial cleaning agents, in temperatures ranging from -50°F to 275°F.
1/2 “Vibration-Dampening Strut Clamp Material:
Zinc-Plated Steel—The zinc plating protects these clamps from occasional exposure to moisture.
304 Stainless Steel and 316 Stainless Steel—The choice for wet environments, these clamps resist rust.
Glass-Filled Nylon—Reinforced with glass fibers for added strength and stability, these clamps withstand high impact and high stress. Because they’re plastic, you don’t have to worry about galvanic corrosion.
Flammability Rating—UL 2043 certified to generate minimal smoke in the event of a fire. These are a good choice for spaces that could spread smoke through your HVAC system, such as air intakes and ducts.
